This is a programme we plan to scale over time, so we're looking for motivated business owners who will complete the process and be open to providing honest feedback and critique. The Legal Easy course will be delivered to you on a drip-feed basis over the 8-12 weeks, for those who want to keep pace and engage in the live Q&A sessions on a per-topic basis. However you will then have lifetime access to the materials, including any updates we make to content whilst we grow and maintain the Root to Grow experience over time. So you can revisit topics as and when you need them in your business. 

We'll be focussing on your client/customer facing contracts. Most business owners (as they grow) deliver a range of different things. You may be creating products or services, selling to consumers or businesses, you may be offline or online, using affiliates or suppliers. Or a combination, which is what makes things so complicated. That's why you need an expert lawyer on the job. Buying templates online can get you so far (and obviously its better than nothing) but what you really need as you grow is expert eyes on YOUR business need. And that's what you'll get.

You'll fill in an online questionnaire, then engage 1:1 with one of our legal team, who will produce initial drafts for you to review, then a further call to finalise. If you decide you do need more complicated documents producing such as Shareholder's Agreements or distribution or licensing agreements then we will quote you separately. 

We know that business owners need other documents such as NDAs, website compliance documents, support with GDPR queries, or guidance on IP issues. We will be responsive to requests during the 12 weeks and produce some customised templates for the group as needed. Root to Grow is for established businesses so we're anticipate you already have some level of legal protections in place. We're not here to overload you with templates or make you consume information. This is jargon-free, hands-on direct advice so you're set for the year ahead. Simple.

There will be live calls taking place in the online group during the 12 weeks. This is intended to give you time and space and come and ask any and all questions you have related to the topics we'll be talking about in the training modules, or in relation to the contracts side of your business. You can also post questions in the FB group and that way, other members will get to benefit from the responses too. 

There will always be others things you need to know as a business owner! Within the 12 week period we will help wherever we can with issues as they arise. At the end of the period, we'll be collating your feedback on the experience and giving you an option to have ongoing support from us in the form of a  membership or retained service. But there's no obligation on that - we just don't want you to feel left out in the cold after such a warm and happy time! 

Yes of course - we provide a 1:1 service for contract production, although the cost of that is very similar to the cost of the Root to Grow programme.

Our motive for running this in a small group environment is because we know how much power there is in a ‘group’ that encourages expansion. Whilst Root to Grow is primarily about getting you access to robust contracts, trusted information and ‘legal know-how’, don't underestimate the connection and support you will get from other smart ambitious business owners.
